Two member cities of the Asian Mayors Forum, Khoy from Iran and Konya from Turkey, have signed a twinning agreement.
The signing ceremony was held on December 11, at the Konya Municipality, and the memorandum of understanding was signed by Deputy Mayor of Khoy Bahman Rezanezhad and his counterpart from Konya Municipality Mustafa Uzbaş.
Training and exchange of knowledge in the fields of tourism, culture, and urban infrastructure are among the main pillars of this agreement.
The agreement was signed in line with AMF goals to facilitate and deepen cooperation between its member cities.
