AMF Secretary General has appointed the Honorable Mayor of Urmia as the President of the Forum’s “Committee on Urban Economy and Entrepreneurship.”
During a one-day trip to Urmia, Hamidreza Gholamzadeh officially presented the appointment decree to Mr. Aydin Rahmani Rezaieh. In this meeting, discussions were held on potential areas of cooperation between the Forum and the city of Urmia, expanding the city’s collaboration with other member cities, and leveraging its cultural, economic, historical, and tourism capacities to attract international partnerships.
On the sidelines of this trip, AMF SG also visited Urmia’s attractions, including the historic bazaar, the Grand Mosque, and the Chichest recreational village.
