The BRICS Youth Festival, with the active participation of an Iranian delegation, concluded today in Kazan, Russia. The week-long event brought together 150 teenagers from 13 BRICS+ countries.
The Iranian delegation, consisting of eight young participants introduced by the Asian Mayors Forum, seized this unique opportunity to present Iran’s cultural and social capacities as ambassadors of peace and culture. They also voiced their solidarity with the children of Gaza, calling for a world filled with peace and justice for all children.
The delegation’s program included a meeting with Kazan’s Mayor Ilsur Metshin, participation in dialogue sessions, cultural exchanges, and involvement in scientific Olympiads.
A notable achievement of the Iranian team was winning a bronze medal in the Mathematics and Programming Olympiad, proudly registered in Iran’s name.
