The eighth issue of the Asian Mayors Forum Activity Report highlights AMF’s key activities, international engagements, cultural initiatives, and membership developments from October to December 2024.
During this period, AMF strengthened cultural and international cooperation through exhibitions and joint initiatives with diplomatic missions and international partners, including cultural programs featuring Japan, Romania, and Russia. The Forum also participated in the BRICS+ Association of Cities and Municipalities meeting in Dubai, emphasizing the importance of stronger cooperation among cities.
The report also highlights international conferences and urban programs on environmental health, urban sustainability, citizen skills, public diplomacy, astronomy, gastronomy, and historical cities. The quarter further marked the expansion of the AMF network with new member cities, alongside the launch of the 7th AMF Internship Program and the annual AMF MeetUp 2024.
