AMF Secretary General hosted Ms. Fazeeha Azmi, the newly-appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Islamic Republic of Iran on July 29.
During the meeting, the Secretary General provided an overview of the Forum’s background and activities, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation among cities across Asia. He noted that cities in Iran and Sri Lanka can also expand their cooperation through exchange of urban knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
The Sri Lankan Ambassador highlighted the mutual benefits of sharing experiences between the two countries and expressed her readiness to serve as a bridge between Iran and Sri Lanka.
