The seventh issue of the Asian Mayors Forum Activity Report highlights AMF’s key activities and international engagements from July to September 2024.
During this period, AMF held its 10th Executive Board Meeting in Tehran, welcoming representatives from member cities and approving the membership of 23 new cities. The Forum also strengthened cooperation with international partners and diplomatic missions, including Japan, Malaysia, Türkiye, ECO and IOM, while promoting cultural exchange and inter-city cooperation.
The report also highlights AMF’s initiatives in urban tourism, peace and public diplomacy, women’s participation, sustainable urban development, digital urban management, and youth empowerment. Key activities included the “Together for Peace” event, the first “Young Diplomat” Summer School, participation in Kazan Digital Week, and the launch of the 6th AMF Internship Program.
