On October 6, AMF Secretary General hosted the Mayor of Abarkuh, from Yazd Province, as the newest member of the Forum.
During the meeting, Hamidreza Gholamzadeh presented an overview of the Forum’s history, objectives, and activities, and invited Mr. Khalil Akrami, the Mayor of Abarkuh, to attend the upcoming urban event in Tehran scheduled for November this year. He also outlined areas for potential cooperation.
The Mayor of Abarkuh, in turn, highlighted the city’s rich historical and cultural background and expressed his willingness to enhance Abarkuh’s participation in the Forum’s projects and initiatives.
