Kermanshah is the capital of Kermanshah province in Iran, the ninth most populated city and one of the metropolises of Iran. Kermanshah is the most important city in the western central region of Iran and it is also considered the largest Kurdish city in Iran. The city of Kermanshah has a mild mountainous climate. The boundaries of the city end at Farkhshad Mountain from the north, Taqbustan from the northwest, and Sefid Kouh from the south, and it is one of the connecting highways between East and West and the oldest passages from Iran to Mian-Rodan. This city is very important due to its location at the intersection of the two axes of North to South and East to West, as well as its neighborhood with Iraq and its location on the way to the pilgrimage cities of Karbala and Baghdad.
