Mayor: Stelian Bujduveanu (Interim)
Stelian Bujduveanu is the interim Mayor of Bucharest starting May 26, 2025. He has over 10 years of experience in public administration, being permanently involved in managing the challenges specific to the administration of the Capital.
He is in his third term as general councilor, having been first elected in 2016, from the National Liberal Party. In December 2020, he was elected Deputy Mayor of Bucharest, and since March 2022, for 2 years, he has managed activities related to public transport, parking and urban heritage.
