Hojatollah Dehdashti is the Mayor of Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran. Prior to his appointment as mayor, he served as Deputy Governor-General of Khuzestan Province for Management and Resources Development and as Governor of Shushtar County. He was elected Mayor of Ahvaz by the Islamic City Council on 22 December 2025, receiving 10 votes from the 11 members present.
