The Asian Mayors Forum, in cooperation with Shiraz Municipality, hosted the international event “Cities, Children, and Our Shared Future” and the opening of the children’s painting exhibition “Colors of Paradise” at the Baladiye historic building in Tehran.
The event brought together the AMF Secretary-General, the Mayor of Shiraz, the Chairman of Shiraz City Council, the Deputy Governor of Fars Province, along with representatives from international organizations, ambassadors, and diplomatic missions.
Participating organizations included the UN, UNESCO National Commission, World Food Programme, and embassies of Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Romania, the Philippines, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Armenia.
The event aimed to strengthen international cooperation, promote child-friendly cities, and highlight the role of art and cultural dialogue in building a sustainable future.
