Qazvin, Russia’s Gorodetsky ink twinning MoU

Qazvin and the Gorodetsky District of Russia have signed a sister-city agreement on the sidelines of the first General Assembly of the “BRICS+ Association of Cities and Municipalities.”

The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Qazvin Mr. Mehdi Sabbaghi and the head of the local government of Gorodetsky, Alexander Yurievich Mudrov. The agreement is set to pave the way for cooperation between the two cities in various urban sectors.

Qazvin is a member of the Asian Mayors Forum, and its mayor participated in the event in Maricá, Brazil, as part of a delegation from the Forum.
