Mayor: Rustami Emomali
Rustami Emomali, born in 1987, is a Tajik politician who serves as the mayor of Dushanbe.
He is also the current Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan.
He has a specialist's degree in International Economic Relations from the Tajik State National University.
Dushanbe is the capital and largest city of Tajikistan, lying along the Varzob River in the Gissar valley, in the southwest of the country.
Being an ancient settlement, Dushnabe has witnessed hundreds of rulers throughout the history and became the capital of the independent Tajikistan on 9 September 1991.
Dushanbe is home to light industries like textile manufacturing and food processing and serves as the country’s cultural and artistic hub. An important transport junction, Dushanbe accounts for much of the republic’s industrial output.
Dushanbe is the Term President of AMF.
