Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University (UK). He has worked in several executive position in Qatar and was appointed as minister in 2024.

Doha is the capital of Qatar, located on the east coast of the Qatar Peninsula in the Persian Gulf.

Serving as the main financial hub of Qatar, Doha is home to most of the country’s population. It was officially declared as the country’s capital in 1971, when Qatar gained independence from being a British protectorate.
