Le Trung Chinh, born in 1969, is the Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, which is in charge of city's executive affairs. With a bachelor's degree in Mathematics education and a doctorate in Education, he has served in numerous administrative positions during his career life.
Da Nang is one of the largest cities in Vietnam, located in the country’s central part at the mouth of the Hàn River.
It is also home to chief port and the leading industrial center of the central Vietnam, playing a vital role in its economy. As such, Da Nang is an important city in that region.
The city enjoys deep roots in the history as well, featured in its numerous historical monuments and several UNESCO-registered sites.
