AMF delegates have participated in a specialized panel on sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, held on the sidelines of the inaugural General Assembly of BRICS+ Cities and Municipalities in Brazil.
The session featured the Mayor of Tehran as the keynote speaker, with the mayors of Rasht, Qazvin, and Arak also delivering presentations on the adoption and implementation of ESG standards in their respective cities. Discussions focused on inter-city cooperation and shared areas of interest in advancing sustainable urban development.
The event took place in the Brazilian city of Maricá from May 26 to 28.
