AMF has hosted a green event with the presence of diplomatic spouses on the occasion of Natl. Tree Planting Day (Arbor Day). 
Organized in cooperation with Tehran Municipality, the planting event saw wives of ambassadors from dozens of countries, including China, Thailand, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Mexico, South Africa, Syria, and Armenia bedding out saplings at Javanmardan Park in Western Tehran. 
The Diplomatic Women Association, headed by spouse of Iranian FM Mrs. Amirabdollahian, Economic Cooperation Organization Organization (ECO), UNDP, and UNAMA also took part at the event. 
Increasing the green space and reducing air pollution were among the aims of the event, dubbed “Saving Earth for Future Generations”.
